Frisco, Texas

Frisco SEO services for a crowded first page, from $65 a month

Outside the five big metros, no Texas city on our list draws more searches for SEO help than Frisco. Page one for 'frisco seo company' is split between agency sites and directory lists under a map pack, so a Frisco business has to compete in both places.

What a Frisco search for SEO help looks like

In October 2026 the Frisco cluster we track added up to 3,230 searches a month. Only Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth came in higher on our list of Texas places. Read that total with care, though. Google Ads reports close variants under one shared figure, so "frisco seo company" and "seo company frisco" both show 590, the three short phrasings ("frisco seo", "seo frisco", "seo frisco tx") all show 320, the two services phrasings show 210, and the three web design phrasings show 210. That is four strong demand signals, not 3,230 different people. Even so, the short phrase on its own beats Plano's 210, and Plano has more residents.

We pulled the live Google result for "frisco seo company" on 17 October 2026. Of the nine organic results, four were agency sites and four were directories or ranked lists: Semrush's agency directory appeared twice, next to an ecommerce agency list and a "top 10" roundup. The ninth was a Facebook page. A map pack sat above all of them. There was no AI Overview and no People Also Ask box.

That mix says a lot about the person searching. Google showed no questions because nobody typing this phrase wants a definition; they are shopping. They want to compare names, which is why half the page is lists, and they want someone close by, which is why the map pack comes first.

Run the same check on your own main search, such as "pool builder frisco" or "frisco cpa". Count the ten results: how many are businesses like yours, how many are lists (Yelp, Angi, Houzz, the directories in your field), and whether a map pack shows. Where lists hold half the page, a strong listing on them is part of the job, and so is a Business Profile complete enough to win a map spot. Where the page is mostly business websites, your own service pages carry more of the weight.

Frisco buyers, by the Census numbers

Census estimates put Frisco at 235,208 people in 2024, up from a 2020 base of 200,537. That is about 34,700 more residents in four years, a rise of 17.3%. Those newcomers arrived without a dentist, an accountant or a garage door company, and many of them will find one by searching rather than by asking someone they have known for years.

The Census Bureau's American Community Survey for 2019-2023 counts 110,209 employed Frisco residents. The largest group, 19.4%, works in professional, scientific and technical services, and another 13.2% works in finance and insurance. The same survey puts the median household income at $146,158 and finds that 33.7% of workers worked from home.

Here is how those figures show up in search:

  • Frisco buyers read before they call. People who vet vendors at work tend to bring the habit home. They open three sites and compare what each one says about the process, the timeline and what drives the price. A service page that answers those questions in plain terms does more in Frisco than a page of slogans and stock photos.
  • A third of workers are home on weekdays. Searches happen at a desk at 10 in the morning, not only on a phone at night. A site that works on a laptop and a phone, with a form that sends and a reply that comes the same day, catches those daytime searches.
  • Plenty of Frisco businesses run from a house. Consultants, bookkeepers, tutors and mobile services often have no storefront. Google lets a service-area business hide its address and list up to 20 service areas, but a virtual office or a mailbox is not eligible for a Business Profile. Setting this up correctly at the start saves you from a suspended profile later.

Frisco in Collin County and the north Metroplex

Most of Frisco lies in Collin County, and its western side reaches into Denton County. The Dallas North Tollway runs north and south through the middle of the city, State Highway 121 (the Sam Rayburn Tollway) crosses its southern side, and US 380 runs along the north toward Prosper. Those roads set how far a Frisco business drives in a normal day: from the tollway, Prosper, Plano and The Colony are all close.

That is why few Frisco businesses serve only Frisco. A home-service company based here typically also works Prosper, six miles north, and Plano to the south, often with McKinney and Allen to the east as well. Your Business Profile sits at one address, or one hidden address with listed service areas, and map results favor businesses near the searcher, so a Frisco profile pulls most of its weight in Frisco. To reach the other cities you need a page for each one you truly serve, built on real work there: the neighborhoods, the jobs, the drive time, the questions customers in that city ask. Copies of the Frisco page with the name swapped do not hold up, for customers or for Google.

Frisco questions

My Frisco business runs from my house. Can I still have a Google Business Profile?

Yes, as a service-area business. Google lets you hide a home address and list the areas you serve, up to 20 of them, which suits a consultant, cleaner or contractor working from a Frisco home office. What Google does not accept is a virtual office or a mailbox as the address; profiles built on those get suspended. If clients come to your house for appointments, the rules are different, so read Google's current guidelines before you set it up.

Will a Frisco address help me show up in Plano and Prosper too?

Partly. Map results lean toward businesses near the person searching, so a Frisco profile is strongest inside Frisco and fades as the searcher moves south into Plano or north past US 380. To reach those cities you usually need a page for each one that describes real work there, plus reviews from customers who live there. We would pick the first cities to cover from where your jobs already come from.

Directory lists rank for Frisco searches. Should my business be on them?

Check your own trade first. Search your main service with 'Frisco' and count how many of the ten results are lists or directories. If they hold several spots, a complete and accurate listing on the ones that rank is worth the time, because buyers click them to compare. Keep your name, address and website identical on every listing; fixing mismatches is part of the citation cleanup in every plan.

Will you also work with my competitor in Frisco?

We might. We do take on more than one business in the same city, and Frisco is large enough that most trades have several competitors on page one. What we never do is share one client's data, keyword list or reports with another. Each plan is built from that business's own Business Profile, site and results, and you can stop any month if you are not comfortable.
