Plano SEO and web design for service and B2B firms, from $65 a month
In October 2026 more people searched for a Plano web designer than for Plano SEO, and one in four Plano workers works from home. We help Plano companies with both the site and the search work, remotely, from $65 a month.

What a search for "plano seo" returns
On October 17, 2026, Google showed nine organic results for "plano seo". Five were agency sites. The other four were directories and ranking lists, the "top SEO companies in Plano" kind of page that sites such as The Manifest publish with the current month in the title. A map pack sat above them and a People Also Ask box below. There was no AI Overview on this query.
That mix says a lot about the Plano buyer. Almost half the organic page is lists, so many searchers here are comparing vendors before they contact anyone. They open a list, open three or four sites from it, and read. The map pack serves the other searcher, the one who simply wants a firm close by. To win both, a business has to appear in the map and survive a side by side reading of its site.
The People Also Ask questions came from someone still deciding whether to buy at all: whether SEO is dead now with AI, what an SEO company does, what the "80/20 rule" means, what the service costs, whether ChatGPT can do it, and whether they could do it themselves. Those are the questions of a careful, cost-conscious owner. Your own Plano prospects ask the equivalent about your trade, so your service pages should answer them in plain words: what is included, how it is priced, and what the customer could handle without you.
Reading the Plano numbers
In October 2026 the Plano cluster summed to about 2,080 searches a month, but that total counts the same people several times. The three web design phrasings ("plano web design", "web design plano", "web design plano tx") share one figure of about 390. The four SEO phrasings ("plano seo", "seo plano" and the versions ending in tx or texas) share about 170. "Plano seo company" and "seo company plano" share about 90, and the agency, services and expert variants show about 10 each. Read it as roughly 390 people a month looking for a web designer, 170 looking for SEO help and 90 looking for a firm. Web design leads by more than two to one, so in Plano the website is usually where the owner starts.
A city of offices, finance and retail
The American Community Survey (Census Bureau, 2019-2023) counts about 154,900 employed Plano residents. The largest single industry among them is professional, scientific and technical services, at 17.5%. Retail trade follows at 10.4% and finance and insurance at 10.2%. The same survey puts Plano's median household income at $108,649 and the share of workers who work from home at 25.3%. Census estimates show 285,464 residents in 2020 and 293,286 in 2024, a gain of 2.7%.
Slow population growth changes who is searching. Fewer households arrive each year needing a first dentist or a first HVAC company, so more demand comes from people and companies switching providers. Switchers compare. They read about credentials, process and price, and they scan reviews for the complaint that made them leave the last provider.
The professional and finance shares matter most for B2B firms. An accountant, a managed IT company, an engineering consultancy or a staffing agency in Plano sells to other businesses, and those buyers rarely type "near me". They search for the service plus the problem ("sales tax audit help", "managed IT for a dental office", "commercial insurance broker collin county"), and they want proof before a call: the industries served, a clear process, examples of past work. For those firms, an expertise page that answers one specific question does more than a long list of services.
The work-from-home share shapes timing and reading habits. With a quarter of workers at home, much of Plano's searching happens at a desk on weekday afternoons, not only on a phone in a parking lot. Desktop readers keep several tabs open and read to the end. Give them something worth reading: price ranges where you can publish them, a short description of how the work goes, and a way to ask a question in writing.
The retail share pulls the other way. Shops, restaurants, salons and gyms near Plano's shopping centers live on the map pack and on reviews, and their searchers are on phones, nearby, ready to go. A Plano business that serves both kinds of customer often needs both kinds of page.
Plano in Collin County and the Metroplex
Plano sits in southern Collin County. US 75, the Central Expressway, runs north to south through the east side of the city, the Dallas North Tollway runs along the west, the President George Bush Turnpike crosses the south, and SH 121 follows the northern edge. Those roads decide how far a service crew will drive and how far an office client will come for a meeting.
Few Plano companies serve Plano alone. A home-service business here usually covers Richardson and Allen, each about six miles away, plus Frisco to the northwest and Carrollton to the west. B2B firms often sell across the whole Metroplex and well beyond it, and our Dallas-Fort Worth SEO page covers that wider market.
How that plays out in a setup:
- A business that clients visit (a dental office, a law office, a store) shows its address, and the map pack favors searchers near it. Ranking in Frisco map results from a Plano address is hard; ranking for "near me" searches inside Plano is realistic.
- A business that goes to clients can hide the address and list service areas, up to 20 of them. Build a page for a neighboring city only where you have jobs, photos and reviews from it.
- A firm that sells regionally should spend most of its effort on topic pages for the problems it solves, and keep one strong Plano page for the local query.
Where a Plano business can start
Because web design searches lead in Plano, look at the site before buying anything else. Our free SEO audit reviews your Plano pages, how they load on a phone, your Business Profile and your reviews, and tells you in writing what to fix first. If the answer is a rebuild, our website design work starts at $400, quoted per project, and SEO packages run from $65 to $575 a month with no long contract. We handle Plano accounts by email, phone and video, without a local office, and the monthly report lists every link we build so a finance-minded owner can check each one.

Plano questions
Can I do SEO on my own for a Plano business?
Yes, a good part of it. You can complete your Business Profile, ask every customer for a review, rewrite page titles so they name the service and Plano, and give each service its own page. The harder parts are earning links from other websites and keeping the work going every month while you run the company. Plenty of owners handle the profile and reviews in house and hand off the links and content.
Is SEO dead now that people ask AI tools for answers?
No. On the Plano query we checked in October 2026 there was no AI Overview at all; the map pack and the organic results did the work. Where AI summaries do appear, they draw on web pages, so a page with clear facts about your service still feeds them. What has lost value is the thin page written only to repeat a keyword.
Does a B2B firm in Plano need local SEO?
Some, but less than a shop or a clinic does. A Plano consultancy, IT provider or software company should keep a complete Business Profile and one strong Plano page, because prospects check both before a first meeting. Most new business, though, comes from topic pages that answer the exact problems buyers search for, wherever those buyers sit. Put most of the effort there and keep the local side tidy.
What does an SEO company actually do each month?
It finds the searches that bring you customers, improves the pages and listings that should rank for them, and earns links from other sites. With us, every package includes Business Profile, citation and review work, plus guest posts and Web 2.0 links in the numbers the package sets. Each month you receive a report that lists every live URL, the page it points to and the anchor text used.
