In October 2026, "new braunfels web design" and "web design new braunfels" each showed about 110 US searches a month (close variants like these usually reflect the same people). "New braunfels seo" and "seo new braunfels" showed about 20 each, and "new braunfels seo company" about 10. The cluster adds up to 270.

Nine organic results: five agency or business pages, three directory-style pages (Semrush's agency directory, a MapQuest listing and a list of agencies) and one Facebook page, with a Yahoo local listings page among the five. An AI Overview sat at the top. There was no map pack for this term.

Apart from the growth question, People Also Ask wanted to know the top 10 SEO companies in the USA, the 80/20 rule in SEO, what an SEO consultant does, whether SEO is dead now with AI, and how much an SEO consultant costs. Two of the six say "consultant". New Braunfels buyers seem to picture hiring one person they can talk to, not a faceless agency, so a page that says who does the work, how often you will hear from them and what the report looks like answers what they are actually asking.

When directories, a MapQuest listing and a Facebook page fill a third of page one, Google is short on strong local pages for that search. That can also hold for trade searches in a city where so many businesses are new, so check yours. A New Braunfels company with a real, detailed page about its New Braunfels work has a fair chance at a spot.

Health care, shops and the river crowd

In the Census Bureau's 2019-2023 American Community Survey estimates, 51,250 New Braunfels residents were employed. The largest shares work in health care and social assistance (13.3%), retail trade (12.1%) and educational services (10.7%), followed by accommodation and food services (8.7%) and construction (8.4%). Median household income is $88,257, and 14.4% of workers work from home.

That accommodation and food share points to tourism. The Comal and Guadalupe rivers, Gruene and Schlitterbahn draw visitors, and many of them search before they arrive, from San Antonio, Austin or further away. Their location gives you no help in the results, so your profile and pages have to say New Braunfels, the river and what you offer in plain words. Seasonal businesses should update hours, photos and posts before the summer rush rather than during it.

Health care, the largest share, has to keep pace with all those new households. A new clinic needs its Business Profile complete on day one: categories, hours, insurance information on the site and a way to book.

Between San Antonio and Austin

New Braunfels is the seat of Comal County, and part of the city crosses into Guadalupe County. It sits on I-35 about 29 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio, which makes it part of the San Antonio market, and about 47 miles from Austin. Up the interstate are SEO in San Marcos, 16 miles away, and Kyle, 25 miles. To the west is Boerne, about 37 miles across the Hill Country. Seguin, Canyon Lake, Schertz and Cibolo are all close enough for a New Braunfels service business to work in them every week.
