Case file: Window tinting company, California
City pages took a tint shop from a handful of leads a week to 40+ a day
A window tinting company losing local searches to smaller shops. Pages built for dozens of California cities put it on page one across the state: the same multi-city model a Texas business serving several metros needs.

Where it started
A window tinting company with a broad service area across California, losing business every day to smaller competitors who held the searches in cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco.
It had 3 to 5 inbound leads a week and no city-by-city ranking plan.
What was done
- Audit. A full review of the Business Profile, citation consistency across hundreds of directories, and the link profiles of the leading competitors in each target city.
- City pages built at scale. A landing page for each target city, each written with locally relevant content and local schema, aimed at searches like "ceramic auto tint [City]". Not a swapped-name template.
- Citations and links. A large manual citation campaign plus geo-targeted guest post links to strengthen each new city page and the domain as a whole.
- Tracking. Monthly link and ranking reports, with call tracking tying the new business to the work.
What changed
- Weekly leads: from about 5 to over 280 (40+ a day)
- Page one: dozens of California cities
- Business operation: grew 900%
What it means for a Texas business
Covering many cities from one domain works when every city page is genuinely about that city. Texas businesses serving several metros (DFW, Greater Houston, the I-35 corridor) are the closest match to this case.
A California result. It is the model behind our advice for Texas businesses that serve more than one metro.
